Journeyman Electrician

Applicants will have at least a New Mexico EE-98J Journeyman’s License or MSHA (Mine Health and Safety Administration) Electrical License.​

Electrician Position Requirements:

  • Perform commercial and industrial electrical work.

  • Troubleshoot electrical circuits and systems.

  • Be familiar with the latest version of the National Electrical Code (NEC).

  • Install and maintain electrical circuits and systems in accordance with code.

  • Pull wire and conductors through various sizes of conduit.

  • Read and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, blueprints, and other electrical drawings.

  • Install and bend conduit or raceways in accordance with the NEC.

  • Calculate basic electrical calculations in reference to the NEC.

  • Have familiarity with troubleshooting and repairing electric motors and drives.

  • Operate basic tools such as cordless drills, impacts, conduit benders, crimping devices, etc.

  • Communicate effectively and work well with various team members such as electrical helpers, electricians, AG Solutions supervisors, and customers.

  • Lead and provide guidance to apprentices and electrical helpers as needed.

  • Perform Job Safety Analysis prior to commencement of work, job, or project.

  • Perform daily walk-around and safety inspections of light vehicles prior to entering work site and as needed throughout the day.

  • Continuously monitor working conditions and determine if work area is free of hazards.

  • Perform housekeeping inside worksite and in vehicle.

  • Be familiar with using Apple Products (iPad) for communications, uploading invoices, documents, and time card submission.

  • Report and record accurate hours worked.

  • Adhere to company policy, rules, and regulations.

  • Comply with all worksite policy, rules, and regulations.

  • Comply with all local, state, tribal, and federal laws.

  • Ensure safety is a constant priority.

  • Complete a 90-day probationary period.

  • Be willing to possibly commit to a 24/7 on-call schedule.

Qualifications and Skills:​

  • Minimum of 4 years electrical work

  • Able to work in the United States without sponsorship.

  • High School Diploma or GED strongly preferred.

  • Pass a drug and alcohol test and have no prior positive tests or refusals.

  • Must be able to safely lift and carry approximately 40 pounds or more of equipment, parts and tools if required by the functions of the job.

  • Work well in a team environment

  • Professional, good interpersonal skills, and hard-working

  • Good safety record and attitude

Oil & Gas Electrician/Electrical Helper

Oil & Gas Position Requirements:

  • Willing to lead by example and work alongside the field technicians when needed.

  • Ability to manage field personnel and subcontractors to complete projects on time and within budget.

  • Accepts ownership of all job site activities and personnel to include on-site planning, material and equipment management, process execution, and safety.

  • Perform commercial and industrial electrical work.

  • Ability to interpret and manage electrical installations based on standards, project files, drawings, documents, wiring diagrams, schematics, customer needs & records.

  • Be familiar with using Apple Products (iPad) for communications, uploading invoices, documents, and capturing team members' timecards.

  • Build and manage a weekly schedule with a forecasted 3-week look ahead.

  • Experience with basic project and construction coordination, including planning, scheduling, cost management, change order identification, procurement of material/receiving, and customer relations.

  • Coordinating daily tasks according to priorities and plans, making changes when necessary due to weather, supply, delivery, and personnel

  • Perform Job Safety Analysis prior to commencement of work, job, or project.

  • Coach/mentor employees while providing feedback on performance.

  • Experience with and ability to implement on-site training for field personnel.

  • Report and record accurate hours worked for team

  • Adhere to company policy, rules, and regulations.

  • Comply with all worksite policy, rules, and regulations.

  • Comply with all local, state, tribal, and federal laws.

  • Ensure safety is a constant priority.

  • An Electrical Journeymen's License is preferred. However related field, or equivalent combination of experience/education is also desired.

  • Effectively interface with all levels of management, staff, and customers (conference calls, bid walks, etc.)

  • Competency in Microsoft applications (i.e. Word, Excel, Outlook, and PDFs)

  • Must be available to travel within regional states.

  • Must be able to safely lift and carry approximately 40 pounds or more of equipment, parts and tools if required by the functions of the job.

  • Possess and maintain a valid driver’s license that represents a history of safe & competent driving.

  • Pass a drug and alcohol test and have no prior positive tests or refusals.

Administrator/Administrative Assistant

Administrative Position Requirements:

  • Maintain and ensure accuracy of financial transactions and record keeping, as needed.

  • Perform all activities related to Office Operating functions including reviewing, coding and processing payments in a timely manner, scheduling, assisting with spreadsheets, records and budgets, answering calls, emails, customer and vendor correspondence, booking meetings, travel arrangements, data entry.

  • Perform accounts receivable functions including generating invoices and processing deposits.

  • Accurately prepare reporting for management.

  • Purchase project materials and supplies as directed.

  • Assist with monitoring for variances from project budgets.

  • Marketing assistance.

  • Comprehensive administrative duties.

  • Identify improvements to streamline processes and increase efficiency and productivity.

  • Assistance with on-boarding of employees.

  • Must assist with project administrative duties as needed.

 

Required Qualifications and Skills:​

  • Associates degree (minimum) preferred (or relevant work experience in lieu)

  • Minimum of 5 years as a corporate executive/administrative assistant or equivalent. 

  • Proficient in Quickbooks Online.

  • Proficient with Microsoft Suite of products.

  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.

  • Strong listening, verbal and written communication skills.

  • Ability to apply established procedures with a high degree of accuracy, responsibility, and confidentiality.

  • Ability to read, write, and make simple mathematical calculations.

  • Ability to understand and carry out efficient instructions that are provided in written, oral, or diagram form.

  • Highly organized, detail oriented, and manage time efficiently.

  • Solid judgment to discern solutions to simple problems and obstacles.

  • Ability to get along well with diverse personalities at all levels of company; high level of professionalism tactful, mature and flexible. 

  • Pass an extensive background, drug and alcohol test and have no prior positive tests or refusals.

Note:

All administrative positions require an extensive and comprehensive knowledge of business operations and office practices, with strict attention to detail, dependability and listening skills. Our office staff must be proficient in Quickbooks and Microsoft Programs, possess skills in relation to administrative assisting, and have stellar communication skills with our customers and field workers. Position will be primarily on-site.
